Originally from Cooktown, Clare moved to the UK at 12 with her parents. She met Michael and they decided to move to Australia in 2017. After years of trying to find the right business to buy into the Emerald Creek Ice Creamery caught their eye.  

On the 10th of June 2021 it was officially theirs and it’s been go, go, go ever since. The previous owners have been fantastic in showing Mike and Clare the ropes to keep tradition alive and ensure that the basics stay the same and we continue to make wonderful ice cream and sorbet everyone is familiar with.

With 2 beautiful children life is hectic but always made better
with ice cream!
